Accessibility at Camping La Source
Plan your stay with confidence
At Camping La Source, we do everything we can to ensure everyone enjoys their holiday to the fullest. Located in the heart of the Aubrac region, our campsite is nestled in a protected natural setting with sometimes dramatic terrain.
Access conditions may vary depending on the area of the campsite. Some areas offer easy access, while others have specific challenges related to changes in elevation, the nature of the paths, or the layout of the grounds.
To help you plan your stay in the best possible conditions, we provide detailed information on site accessibility. If you have specific needs or would like to check the suitability of accommodation or a pitch, please don't hesitate to contact our team before booking. We will be happy to guide you towards the solution best suited to your requirements.
Access to the campsite and parking
For most rental accommodations, a parking space is provided in the immediate vicinity. However, some areas have a different arrangement. This is particularly true for the chalets, which are entirely pedestrianized, where vehicles are parked underneath.
Camping La Source is located in Therondels, in the Aveyron department. The train stations of Aurillac and Vic-sur-Céres, located fifty kilometers away, are the nearest rail access points.
The main roads within the campsite are paved, making travel easy. Due to the natural terrain, some secondary paths may be gravel or have varying degrees of incline.
If you have specific needs regarding parking or the accessibility of your accommodation, please contact us before booking so we can advise you on a personalized approach.
Reception and welcome
The reception area is accessible at ground level, without steps, to ensure easy access for all guests.
Upon your arrival, our team is available to provide information, assistance, and address any specific needs you may have. If necessary, we can also guide you to your accommodation or campsite to facilitate your arrival and departure.
To improve communication for guests with hearing impairments, the reception area is equipped with a hearing aid system.
Accommodation and accessibility
Currently, Camping La Source does not offer accommodation specifically designed and certified for people with reduced mobility (PRM). This is primarily due to the site's natural terrain, situated on hilly ground where the uneven surface makes adapting some accommodations and their access more complex.
However, some rentals may be suitable depending on individual needs and level of independence. We recommend contacting our team before booking to discuss your requirements and help you find the most appropriate accommodation.
Motorhome pitches
Camping La Source offers pitches for motorhomes spread throughout the grounds. Due to the natural topography of the site, situated on hilly terrain, the characteristics of the pitches may vary in terms of size, slope, and ease of access.
Some pitches offer easier access than others. To help you find the best option for your needs, we recommend contacting our team before making your reservation. We can advise you on the most suitable pitches based on your specific situation.
Adapted shared sanitary facilities
The campsite has a shared sanitary block adapted for people with reduced mobility. This space is designed to facilitate movement and allow for more comfortable and independent use of the facilities.
For any questions regarding your pitch or the facilities, our team is available to assist you before and during your stay.
