The climbing site is intelligently structured into three main sectors, guaranteeing a diversity of profiles and atmospheres conducive to the improvement of climbers, whatever their level of climbing.
The upper sector: composed of 8 climbing routes, it offers a nice introduction to lengths, perfect for a beginner who wants to learn how to use the harness, rope and carabiners safely. This sector, perched in the middle of nature, allows an immersive climbing on a natural rock.
The sector of the vire: the densest, with 30 climbing routes, allowing to vary the pleasures and to experiment different cotations on the limestone rocks, perfect to progress in one's practice of climbing and go climb on a natural site of quality, in open access.
The corridor area: comprising 8 climbing routes, it offers a more recessed and vertical frame, ideal for an improvement and to work out your level of climbing with the help of instructors. Climbing this unique rock is a real challenge.
The great routes: 5 spectacular routes that descend into the gorges, perfect for experienced climbers who love adventure terrain, able to handle several lengths and to respect the high cotations peculiar to climbing difficulty on limestone cliffs.
How to get to the Bussières climbing site from the Laussac peninsula?
Located on the shores of Lake Sarrans, the Laussac peninsula is a true natural jewel of Aveyron, popular with lovers of climbing and adventure terrain. If you want to go climbing on the climbing site of Bussières, here is the route to follow for your next climbing trip.
By car (about 15 minutes drive)
1.From the peninsula of Laussac, take the D97 towards Thérondels, admiring the high-mountain landscapes, perfect for climbing and to discover the magnificent limestone rocks of the region.
2.In Thérondels, take the D900 towards Brommat, a village known for its natural sites and its adventure terrain appreciated by climbers of all levels, from beginner to advanced.
3.Once in Brommat, continue on the D900, then follow the signs for Bussières, where the climbing site is located. Before climbing the rocks, don’t forget your harness, rope and carabiners to ensure your safety. Once there, let yourself be tempted by a climbing tour supervised by instructors, ideal to progress and reach a new level of climbing on the impressive climbing routes of the site, some of which are climbing difficulty.
