RESERVATION or RENTAL: provision of services.
SERVICES: seasonal rental of campsite accommodations or pitches.
ACCOMMODATION: tent, caravan, mobile home, chalet, cabatente, cabin.
ARTICLE 1 - SCOPE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to any campsite accommodation or pitch rental at CAMPING LA SOURCE, operated by Socampres, to non-professional customers, on its website: www.camping-la-source.com or by telephone / 0565660562, by post: Camping la Source, Reservations Department, Presqu’île de Laussac, 12600 THERONDELS, or by e-mail, or whenever the Service Provider markets its Services. They do not apply to mobile-home rentals intended for long-term occupation, which require a long-term rental contract.
The main characteristics of the Services are presented on the site www.camping-la-source.com or in written form — paper or electronic — if the reservation is not made online.
The Customer is required to read them before finalizing the reservation. The choice and purchase of a Service are the sole responsibility of the Customer.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the exclusion of all other general conditions of the Provider, namely those applicable to other sales channels of the Services.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are accessible at any time on the website and shall prevail, if applicable, over any other version or any other contractual document. The version applicable to the Customer is the one appearing on the website or communicated by the Provider at the time of the Customer’s Reservation.
Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded in the Provider’s information system constitutes proof of all transactions concluded with the Customer.
In accordance with Article 27 of the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, the user is informed that the optional information they provide when they choose to fill in the forms allows the Provider to respond to their request and is intended for Camping La Source, which is responsible for processing, for administrative and commercial management purposes and, unless they object, may be shared with other companies in the group or with Camping La Source’s partners. The user is informed that they have a right of access and rectification under the conditions defined by the Data Protection Act and the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR) for all personal data concerning them by writing to:

The Customer declares that they have read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and accepted them either by ticking the box provided for that purpose before proceeding with the online reservation, together with the site’s general terms of use www.camping-la-source.com, or, if the reservation was not made online, by any other appropriate means.
ARTICLE 2 - RESERVATIONS
The Customer selects on the website, or provides information on any document made available by the Provider, the services they wish to reserve, under the following terms and conditions:
The Customer is responsible for checking the accuracy of the Reservation and for immediately notifying the Provider of any error. The Reservation will only be considered confirmed once the Provider has sent the Customer a confirmation of acceptance of the Reservation by e-mail or by post or at the time of signing the contract if the reservation is made directly at the premises where the Provider markets its Services.
Any reservation made on the site www.camping-la-source.com constitutes a contract concluded at a distance between the Customer and the Provider.
All Reservations are nominative and may under no circumstance be transferred.
Reservations:
Booking a stay implies acceptance of our terms of sale as well as the campsite’s internal regulations. The reservation request is nominative. It must be made by an adult who will be present for the entire duration of the stay. Minors without an adult are not admitted. The full names and ages of participants must be communicated no later than the day of arrival. Any modification to the reservation must be notified in writing.
Arrivals and departures:
In high season, arrivals and departures are possible on Saturdays and Sundays (depending on the type of rental) for a minimum of 7 nights for rentals. For campsite pitches: arrivals are possible from 2:30 p.m. and departures must take place before 12:00 p.m.
For rented accommodations: arrivals are from 4:00 p.m. and departures before 10:00 a.m. It is imperative to check the inventory and report any anomaly within 48 hours; after this period, no complaint will be taken into account.
Security deposit: For accommodations, a rental deposit of €300 and a cleaning deposit of €65 will be requested separately no later than the day of your arrival. They will be returned at departure after the exit inventory (after deduction of cleaning costs, replacements or repairs that may be necessary) or forfeited in the event of departures without an exit inventory.
The appointment for the exit inventory must be scheduled with reception upon your arrival.
Options: any option not confirmed will be automatically cancelled after 10 days without purchase confirmation from the customer.
Any arrival that does not correspond to the signed contract will be refused access to the campsite.
The reservation will be cancelled and amounts paid retained. The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to groups or families presenting themselves with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the reserved pitch or accommodation.
A baby counts as 1 person.
No arrival without a reservation will be accepted after 7:00 p.m.
Late arrivals and early departures / No-show on the campsite:
In the event of a late arrival or early departure relative to the dates stated on your booking confirmation, the total cost of the stay will remain due.
You will not be entitled to any refund for the portion of the stay not used.
In the event of non-presentation on site and in the absence of any message and/or supporting document, the rental becomes available 24 hours after the arrival date provided for by the rental contract; full payment of the services remains required.
ARTICLE 3 - PRICES
The Services offered by the Provider are supplied at the rates in force on the site www.camping-la-source.com or on any information medium provided by the Provider at the time of the Customer’s reservation. Prices are in Euros, excluding and including value added tax.
Prices take into account any discounts that may be granted by the Provider on the site www.camping-la-source.com or on any information or communication support.
These prices are final and not subject to revision during their period of validity, as stated on the site www.camping-la-source.com, in the e-mail or in the written proposal addressed to the Customer. Beyond this validity period, the offer expires and the Provider is no longer bound by the prices.
They do not include processing and administrative fees, which are invoiced separately under the conditions set out on the site www.camping-la-source.com or in the information (letter, email, ...) previously communicated to the Customer and calculated before the Reservation is made.
The Customer must pay the total price, including these fees. An invoice is issued by the Seller and handed to the Customer at the latest at the payment of the balance.
3.1 Tourist tax:
The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the municipality/council, is not included in the prices. Its amount is determined per person per day and varies according to the destination. This tax must be paid when the Service is paid for and is shown separately on the invoice.
3.2 PRE-BOOK 2026 OFFER
Book before October 15 and benefit from all the advantages of the Pre-Book 2026 offer:
- Best rate guaranteed! If you find a lower price on our site for the same accommodation and the same dates, we will refund the difference.
- Total flexibility: cancel or modify your stay free of charge up to D-60 (60 days before arrival).
- Only €50 deposit required to block your 2026 stay. Pay the remaining 30% deposit before 31/12/25.

How does the Sunêlia card work?
On first subscription, the Sunêlia digital loyalty card is offered for a period of 2 years.
Being part of the club allows you to accumulate points at a rate of 1 point for every €10 spent.
At card expiry, keep your points by renewing your program subscription.
This card has a value of €35 and is valid for 2 years.
Upon subscription, file fees are waived.
From 300 points, you get −5% on a low-season stay.
From 400 points, you get −5% on a high-season stay.
From 800 points, you may receive one free week in low season.

ARTICLE 4 - PAYMENT TERMS
4.1. ADVANCE PAYMENT
At the time of booking, the Customer must make an advance payment corresponding to 30% of the total price of the Services reserved and provided. It must be paid upon receipt of the final rental contract and attached to the copy to be returned. This amount will be deducted from the total price of the reservation.
For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay:
The reservation is only considered confirmed upon receipt of the 30% deposit and handling fees of €19 (non-refundable). A booking confirmation will be sent to you by email (on request, the pitch number will only be given as an indication but may change).
Payment of the Balance: The balance of the stay must be paid no later than the day of arrival, for accommodations and pitches.
For stays without reservation: Full payment must be made on the day of arrival.
Included services and provisions:
Booking a stay provides access to the aquatic areas, to free entertainment and to the children’s clubs during French school holidays in July and August. It includes consumption of water and electricity (except for “nature” category), as well as the equipment necessary for the number of persons according to the category of the reserved accommodation. Parking for one vehicle per pitch is possible on the pitch or nearby.
A free outdoor parking lot is available for additional vehicles.
For bookings of camping pitches, a maximum of 6 people and 3 tents are accepted on the pitch.
4.2 PAYMENTS — PAYMENT CONDITIONS
For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the price of the reserved services must be paid at the time of booking (within 10 days). The balance must be paid at the latest 30 days before the start date of the stay at the site.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
In the event of non-payment of the deposit at booking (within 10 days) or of the balance at the latest 30 days before the start date of the stay by the customer, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and offer the accommodation for rent again.
ARTICLE 5 – PROVISION OF SERVICES
5.1. SUPPLY AND USE OF SERVICES
The campsite pitch may be occupied from 2:30 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by the customer before 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure; for rentals, from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
The balance of the stay must be paid in full no later than the day of arrival.
Accommodations and pitches are made available for a given number of occupants and may in no case be occupied by a greater number of people.
Accommodations and pitches must be left in the same state of cleanliness as on arrival. Smoking in rentals is strictly prohibited. If the Customer fails to comply, an additional amount of €65 will be charged to cover cleaning costs. Any damage to the accommodation or its accessories will result in immediate repairs at the Customer’s expense. The inventory carried out at the end of the stay must be strictly identical to that at the start of the stay.
5.2. SECURITY DEPOSIT
For accommodation rentals, the Customer must pay a security deposit of €365 when the keys are handed over; this amount will be returned to the Customer on the last day of the rental, subject to deduction to cover damages and compensation costs.
This deposit does not constitute a limit of liability.
ARTICLE 6 - LATE ARRIVAL, INTERRUPTION OR CANCELLATION OF THE STAY BY THE CUSTOMER
No reduction will be granted in the event of a late arrival, early departure or modification of the number of people (whether for part or all of the booked stay).
6.1. MODIFICATIONS
In case of modification of dates or number of people, the Provider will endeavor to accept requests for date changes, subject to availability, without prejudice to any additional fees; in any case, this is an obligation of means, the Provider not being able to guarantee the availability of a pitch or accommodation on another date; in such cases, an additional amount may be charged.
Any request to shorten the duration of a stay will be considered by the Provider as a partial cancellation, the consequences of which are governed by article 6.3.
6.2. INTERRUPTION
An early departure cannot give rise to any refund from the Provider.
6.3. Cancellation of your stay without Cancellation Guarantee
Any cancellation of a reservation must be made in writing (registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by e-mail) to the establishment. Supporting documents will be requested. Cancellation initiated by the client results in variable charges, depending on when it takes place:
- Cancellation more than 60 days before the start of the stay: Refund of the deposit paid, less the booking fees (€19) and any cancellation insurance (5% of the total amount of the stay, booking fees not included). Camping La Source, Presqu’île de Laussac, TEL: 0565660562.
- Cancellation between 60 and 15 days before the start of the stay: Charge equal to the full amount of the deposit paid.
- Cancellation less than 15 days before the start of the stay: Charge equal to the full amount of the stay. You will always be offered a postponement of the stay, depending on our availability. In case of refusal by the client, the above conditions apply. Reasons of “comfort” (e.g., weather) are not admissible.
An additional Guarantee enabling you to obtain a refund of the amount of your stay in case of cancellation under certain conditions may be offered to you by the establishment.
6.4. Cancellation Guarantee (Insurance)
This guarantee takes effect from the subscription of the rental contract and expires the day before the first day of the stay at midnight. Subject to compliance with contractual obligations, this guarantee allows you to obtain reimbursement of amounts paid (booking fees and subscription to the cancellation guarantee deducted), if your stay had to be cancelled for the following exhaustive list of reasons:
- Serious illness, bodily accident or death of: Yourself, your lawful spouse or common-law partner, your ascendants or descendants, your guardian, your brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, fathers-in-law, mothers-in-law.
By serious illness or serious bodily accident is meant any temporary or permanent impairment of your physical integrity, medically certified and involving cessation of any professional or other activity. - Pregnancy complications.
- Serious damage requiring your mandatory presence on the day of scheduled departure and resulting from theft, fire, water damage or natural events affecting your main residence or your professional premises destroyed by more than 50% (insurer’s certificate required).
- Economic redundancy of you or your spouse, provided the procedure had not been initiated before booking.
- Refusal or modification of leave following an employer’s decision.
- COVID-19.
Free cancellation and refund up to the day of arrival in the following cases:
- The client or a member of the travelling party tests positive or has COVID at the start of the stay.
- Quarantine due to a positive test or confirmed contact case requiring isolation and PCR testing.
- Hospitalization of the client or a family member (spouse/common-law partner, ascendants or descendants, guardian) due to COVID.
- Requisition by the authorities as part of COVID control measures.
“Mass risk” reasons are excluded (generalized quarantine and lockdown, state of health emergency, border closures, administrative closure of the establishment, refusal of access to the destination country due to lack of vaccination where the destination country already required vaccination at the time of the booking).
All of these grounds for cancellation must be communicated by registered letter accompanied by all necessary documents proving the facts (expert report, police report, summons, medical certificate or death certificate, employer’s letter...) from their occurrence and no later than 3 working days following the incident or event. Reasons of “comfort” (e.g., weather) are not admissible.
ARTICLE 7 - OBLIGATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER
7.1. CIVIL LIABILITY INSURANCE
The Customer on a pitch or in accommodation must have taken out a civil liability insurance policy. A copy of the insurance policy may be requested from the Customer before the start of the stay.
7.2. PETS
Domestic animals are allowed (except dogs of categories 1 and 2), under the responsibility of their owners. They are admitted subject to the conditions provided by the service provider and payable on arrival.
Animals are accepted on the campsite. You must keep them on a leash and be able to present their up-to-date vaccination record, proof of microchipping or tattoo. You are responsible for picking up their droppings. Animals are prohibited in the sanitary facilities, on the multisport ground, the pétanque ground and the children’s club.
In accommodations, when accepted, one dog per rental is admitted. They must not sleep in the bedding and must not cause material damage.
Animals must in no case be LEFT ALONE in the accommodation. Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited on the campsite.
On outdoor pitches or rentals, they are accepted with a supplement payable at booking or on arrival.
7.3. CAMPSITE RULES
The campsite rules are posted at the entrance and at reception. The Customer must read these rules and comply with them. They are available on request.
ARTICLE 8 - OBLIGATIONS OF THE PROVIDER - WARRANTY
The Provider guarantees the Customer, in accordance with legal provisions and without additional payment, against any non-compliance or hidden defect resulting from a defect in the design or execution of the Services reserved.
To assert his rights, the Customer must inform the Provider in writing of the existence of defects or non-conformity within a maximum period of 24 hours from the provision of the Services.
The Service Provider will reimburse or rectify or have rectified (where possible) the services deemed defective as soon as possible, and at the latest 15 days after the service provider has discovered the defect or fault. The refund will be made by credit to the Customer’s bank account or by bank cheque to the Customer.
The Provider’s warranty is limited to the reimbursement of the Services actually paid by the Customer. The Provider cannot be held liable for any delay or non-performance resulting from the occurrence of a force majeure event as defined by French law.
The Services provided through the Provider’s website www.camping-la-source.com comply with French laws in force.
ARTICLE 9 - RIGHT OF IMAGE
During your stay at our campsite, you may be photographed or filmed for the creation and production of our advertising brochures, our website and various promotional media including Facebook. This authorization is granted free of charge, for all countries and for a period of 5 years, unless you notify reception in writing upon your arrival of your opposition to this practice.
ARTICLE 10 - APPLICABLE LAW - LANGUAGE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the operations resulting from them are governed and subject to French law.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are originally drafted in French. In the event of translation into one or more foreign languages, only the French text shall prevail in the event of a dispute.
ARTICLE 11 - DISPUTES
In accordance with the provisions of Article L 161-12-1 of the Consumer Code, any customer of the campsite has the right to resort free of charge to a consumer mediator to attempt amicable resolution of a dispute with the campsite operator. ARTICLE 12 - PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION - CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
The Customer acknowledges having received, prior to their Reservation, in a clear and comprehensible manner, these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and all information referred to in Articles L.111-1 to L.111-7 of the French Consumer Code, in addition to the particulars required under the Decree of October 22, 2008 relating to the consumer’s prior information on the characteristics of campsite rental accommodation, and in particular:
- The essential characteristics of the Services, considering the communication medium used and the Services concerned;
- The price of the Services and associated fees;
- Information on the identity of the Provider, its address, telephone number, electronic contact details and activities, where they do not appear from the context;
- Information concerning legal and contractual warranties and their means of implementation;
- The functionalities of digital content and, where applicable, its interoperability;
- The possibility of recourse to conventional mediation in case of dispute;
- Information on termination conditions and other important contractual conditions.
Any reservation by a natural person (or legal entity) on the site www.camping-la-source.com implies full and complete acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are expressly acknowledged by the Customer, who thereby waives in particular any recourse to any contradictory document that would be inapplicable against the Provider.
ARTICLE 15: EXCERPT FROM THE INTERNAL REGULATIONS
The full internal regulations are available at reception.
- Motorized circulation limited to 10 km/h and prohibited between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
- Quiet is requested on pitches from 11:00 p.m. Two warnings for noise will lead to expulsion. In the event of numerous complaints or violence, expulsion will be immediate.
- Individual charcoal barbecues are allowed on the pitch.
- Visitors without a stay must be declared. Their presence on the campsite is free under 2 hours. Vehicles must remain outside. In case of undeclared visitors, a charge of three times the current rate will be required for 2 hours or more.
- Showers and washbasins are closed between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The campsite reserves the right to close a sanitary area in case of technical problems or maintenance.
- Pitches must be kept clean; dumping of rubbish or bottles is prohibited. Two warnings for dirty pitches will lead to expulsion.
- The number of occupants cannot exceed the capacity provided for the type of accommodation. For pitches: MAXIMUM 6 PERSONS, at least one adult, 3 tents maximum.
- No extra tent, vehicle or person is accepted without the agreement of the campsite.
- Management cannot be held responsible in case of theft.
Aquatic park:
- Wearing swim briefs is mandatory. Covering garments and long swim shorts are prohibited for hygiene reasons and in accordance with ARS regulations.
- The swimming pool and slides may be dangerous.
- It is recommended to respect safety instructions. Young children or non-swimmers must remain under parental supervision and must wear armbands.
- Children wearing diapers must wear swim diapers specifically designed for swimming.
- The campsite may periodically close a slide or a basin in case of bad weather, unexpected technical problems or any situation that could cause a lack of safety or hygiene.
- The rules posted at the aquatic area must be strictly respected.
