Horse-riding, trekking, pony rides, show jumping (all levels), horse and carriage rides and exceptional equestrian shows.
Relax at the Natura Well-Being Centre
This recently extended, refurbished centre, nestled in authentic rural surroundings comprises a spa, balneotherapy centre and swimming pool. On offer are well-being activities, qi-quong, dynamic and relaxing yoga, tai chi, aqua aerobics, dance, aqua stretching, sophrology, and sport with squash courts, a gym and weights room.

The legend of Laguiole comes to life. Spend an intense and unforgettable day making your own Laguiole folding knife.
Under the supervision of a professional craftsman, you’ll get to create your very own Laguiole knife – one that you’ll enjoy using for years to come. A totally unique experience.
There are no special requirements; you just need to wear something appropriate for a workshop (it’s not dirty but may get a little dusty). Booking required. Aimed at individuals who enjoy a bit of DIY and are looking to create lasting memories.

Canyoning
Do you enjoy adventures, thrill-seeking or simply being active?
The Canyon de l’Argence is an unmissable experience for all for thrill seekers, irrespective of level. The first section is ideal for beginners and the second section aimed at more athletic participants. There are a variety of courses with beautiful waterfalls, slides and of course multiple abseils.
More experienced guests can attempt the Canyon des Ondes, a very technical descent, mostly involving abseiling.

Climbing
You will almost certainly have heard of the Paracol climbing site with its 48 routes and 4 different levels. If you enjoy climbing in spectacular scenery, then this is the place for you. The site features three distinct sections: the Belvédère section (17 routes, graded 4 to 6), the Faucon section (21 routes, graded 4 to 7) and the D section (7 partially equipped/Alpine routes of varying lengths, designed for experienced climbers only).
Fishing Activities on Laussac Peninsula and Sarrans Lake
Sarrans Lake, which is located between Viadène and Carladez, and surrounded by magnicent, unspoilt scenery, is a 2nd category lake, teeming with mainly carnivorous fish (perch, pike and zander). There are facilities on-site for boat launching and fishing.
Treetop Adventures
One of our partners, in Sainte-Geneviève-sur-Argence, near our Airotel La Source campsite, runs a treetop adventure park. Move from branch to branch, negotiating over 50 different obstacles, designed to suit all levels and ages from 5 to 77 years old.

Aloa miniature village
15 minutes from the campsite is a pretty, miniature village for children with a giant trampoline, go-karts and climbing facilities for youngsters. And another benefit: it’s all under cover! For safety reasons, children must be accompanied by adults.
Hot air ballooning in Carladez
Set off from the peninsula for an unforgettable adventure. Fly over the lake in a hot air balloon and explore the region’s magnificent landscapes. Not suitable for children under 10 years. 3-4 seater balloons. Allow 3 hours for inflation/set up, 1 hour flight, folding and return to start point.
La Ferme au doux Mohair d’Aubrac Farm in Cantoin
Do you like animals and nature? Are you looking for a family-friendly activity? The Ferme au doux Mohair d’Aubrac, not far from La Source campsite, offers educational visits and a chance to meets its herd of Angora goats. You’ll find out how the goats are reared, and the process of transforming the wool right through to the creation of the finished product.
Hiking in Aveyron
The secret is out! It’s time to explore Aveyron and its great outdoors. There are numerous trails setting off from La Source campsite as well as 5,300 km of walks and hikes throughout the department.
